The life or death fight

During the long hard journey ,only 5 of dogs were left .All of them were dead tired ,Buck was no exception of it ,he suffered a lot and almost became a dead dog .When they came to Jhon Thortons camp ,like his other teammates ,Buck fell down on the ground and did not try to get his feet once more .In fact ,in Bucks inner heart he already knew something terrible would be happen ,because the route for Buck was not strange ,he came there for several times .According to his former experience and sensitive sense ,Buck decided not get to his feet though he would be beaten to death .

当那原始的冲动又一次出现，当那野性的呼唤日夜萦绕在耳边，你会回归古老的自然还是拘泥于当下呢?有一只名叫巴克的狗给出了答案。
他本是上等人家备受关爱的老臣，本该在午后的树荫下乘凉，在冬日的夜晚趴在炉边取暖，但是嗜赌的园丁纽曼尔却把他卖给了狗贩子。在狗贩子手里，他吃尽了鞭挞、饥饿、囚禁等苦头，各种折磨使他认清了事实：这里不再有礼遇，只有弱肉强食的残酷，没有人信奉律法，唯一的准则便是棍棒和尖牙。
在经历了一段时间的悲苦后，巴克不再信奉礼法，挨的鞭子让他变得狡诈、机谨。巴克的第一课是从死亡中学来的。

当我一看到是关于写动物的书，我便很高兴，异常是读过沈石溪先生写的几篇动物小说，如《斑羚飞渡》、《老马威尼》。并且对于《野性的呼唤》这本书也早有听说。看了之后的第一反应，便是将杰克·伦敦写的另一篇小说《白牙》结合起来。如果说谁更加幸运，这还挺难说的，因为一个得到了温馨、幸福的生活而另一个则是重返了森林，找回了自我原有的生活。但有点却是共同的：从原先的森林被人推到苦难中，再被善良的人用爱救了回来，从苦难中解脱出来。

《野性的呼唤》是杰克·伦敦最负盛名的小说。这本书的主人公是一条狗，名叫巴克。故事主要叙述一只强壮勇猛的狼狗巴克从人类文明社会回到狼群原始生活的过程。巴克是一头体重140磅的十分强壮的狗。他本来在一个大法官家里过着优裕的生活，后来被法官的园丁偷走，辗转卖给邮局，又被送到阿拉斯加严寒地区去拉运送邮件的雪橇。巴克最初被卖给两个法裔加拿大人。这些被买来的狗不仅受到了冷酷的人类的虐待，而且在狗之间为了争夺狗群的领导权，也无时不在互相争斗、残杀。由于体力超群、机智勇敢，巴克最终打败斯比茨成为狗群的领队狗。他先后换过几个主人，最后被约翰·索顿收留。那是在巴克被残暴的主人哈尔打得遍体鳞伤、奄奄一息时，索顿救了他，并悉心为他疗伤。在索顿的精心护理下巴克恢复得很快，由此他们之间产生了真挚的感情。巴克对索顿非常忠诚，他两次不顾生命危险救了索顿的命，并在索顿和别人打赌时，拼命把一个载有一千磅盐的雪橇拉动，为索顿赢了一大笔钱。不幸的是，在淘金的过程中，索顿被印第安人杀死。狂怒之下，巴克咬死了几个印第安人，为主人报了仇。后来它进入森林，从此与狼为伍，过着原始动物的生活。但他不忘旧谊，仍然定期到主人的葬身之处去凭吊。
