虽然这本书很普通，但它总是会激起读者的一番热情，而且有一股让人想继续读下去的好奇。。这本书主要讲了一个出生于英国中产阶级家庭的人---鲁滨逊。从小，他就有漫游四海的雄心。一天，他觉得自己是该出去闯了，于是便悄悄地离开了家乡，开始了自己第一次冒险生涯。在经过一些奔波后，他开始有点想家，于是在1686年，鲁滨逊离开了自己苦心经营的海岛，带着一个名叫星期五的仆人回到了早已阔别35年的家乡。到家后，他发现父母早已逝世，只剩下两个妹妹和两个侄子。他在家又没待多久，又来到巴西的种植园，到那他才发现，原来还有一些忠实的朋友一直为他保管着钱财。后来，他又到英国成了家，有了三个孩子。几年后，他的妻子逝世，伤心之余，他心中又燃起了冒险的雄心，便又一次航海经商。鲁滨逊在路经曾住过的荒岛时，发现岛上的人很兴旺，一片繁荣景象。他满意地离开了小岛，继续着冒险的征程
读了这部作品，我感想颇多。鲁滨逊这个形象是上升时期生机勃勃的资产阶级的典型，体现的资产阶级的思想和他们的阶级本质。他具有顽强奋斗的意志力，在困难面前不悲观和绝望，也不对生活抱怨任何实际的幻想，而是脚踏实地去战胜困难，用行动去实现目标。他是一个具有冒险精神的资产者，还是一个敢于追求理想的殖民者。
